I go with option two, every time.
My two favorite providers for last-minute grocery delivery in Munich are Gorillas and Flink. Who I choose depends only on who has the product/s I am looking for. In summary:
Both apps come in English with very user-friendly interfaces.
Both companies provide consistently good service.
Both apps come with delivery estimation times so you can easily how long what you need will take to get to you.
Both apps come with live tracking for your order, once placed.
They often have promotions and specials which are great to take advantage of.
Gorillas
The minimum order value is 15 €.
Delivery fees in Germany are 1.95 €.
If your order is between 15 € and 19.99 € they apply an additional charge of 2.49 € so it's worth spending 20 €.
You will get free delivery from 58.99 €.

Delivery fees are structured as follows:

If your order is 59 € and above, delivery is 0.99 €.
